Do you offer domain registrations?
No, we have made the choice to not offer domain registrations directly. We recommend all of our clients register their domains with a third party registrar so that they have complete control over their online identity and it can not be used to hold you hostage and prevent you from switching to another host at any time you are dissatisfied by your current host (a tactic commonly employed by less reputable web hosts). We highly recommend www.GoDaddy.com for domain registrations. If you are a current or potential client in need of assistance in the domain registration process, please email us and we'll be happy to assist you.
What name servers do I point my domain to if I am hosted with ReadyHost.net?
If you are a shared hosting client, the name servers you will use are ns01.readyhost.net and ns02.readyhost.net. If you are a dedicated server or collocation client, please contact us for your name server information as it will be specific to your account.
How do I access my hosting control panel?
If you are a shared hosting client, you can access your hosting control panel at https://www.yourdomain.com:2083/ (replacing yourdomain.com with your domain name) utilizing your primary account username and password. If you are a dedicated server or collocation client, please contact us for instructions on accessing your hosting control panel.
How do you have over a decade of hosting experience when your domain was registered in 2008?
We were originally founded in 1999 as a subsidiary of another company to provide hosting services to a business group located in Southern California. In 2004 we expanded our offerings to include providing hosting and support services for multiple design firms in Southern California as well as their clients. In 2008 we re-branded under the ReadyHost.net name to offer hosting to the public and expanded our offerings to include shared hosting services as well as the dedicated server and collocation services previously offered.
